Join us for a peaceful and enriching guided walk through nature, where the journey is just as rewarding as the discoveries along the way.

At this special event our own fungi and plants guide is joined by a special guest (expert on butterflies and birds Robin Perry) making each walk a unique opportunity to learn from passionate field naturalists.

• A relaxed, informal walk through varied landscapes – woodlands, meadows, hedgerows.

• Live identification of wild fungi, plants, butterflies, and birds.

• Opportunities to observe different habitats and seasonal highlights.

• Gentle introduction to foraging law, sustainable practices, and ethical observation.

• Learn the field study techniques used by real naturalists.

• Occasional sample collection for scientific analysis (non-edible, research only).

• Folklore, fun facts, and field stories that bring nature to life!

🧠 This is Not a Foraging Course

Unlike our dedicated foraging days, this is a walking learning experience – no tastings, no baskets, and no food gathering. Just wild knowledge shared in real time.

Perfect for curious minds, beginner naturalists, or anyone wanting to deepen their connection with the natural world without needing to pick anything.

🕒 Duration:

Walk takes around 2-3 hours, depending on the weather and group size.

💬 Safety & Practical Info:

• All attendees must provide names and emergency contact details prior to the event (for safety only – info is securely deleted post-event).

• Walks may take place in protected areas where no picking is allowed.

• Please wear suitable outdoor footwear and bring water.
